The Heartland business community holds a consensus on issues impacting the economic competitiveness of the region.

The Heartland Civic Collaborative implements a shared federal advocacy agenda. The agenda amplifies the region’s collective voice, and drives greater action than any one state or metro could accomplish alone.  Click here to see complete agenda.

The Heartland Civic Collaborative strives to provide a strong presence in national policy debates. Through these actions we ensure legislative and regulatory actions do not negatively impact the region. In addition, we work to collectively and strategically pursue federal funding opportunities for economic development.

This shared federal advocacy agenda leverages the influence of eight U.S. senators and 19 U.S. representatives. With their influence we build momentum and initiate further action.
