Iowa Leaders Launch innovationIOWA Magazine
On April 5, 2016, the Greater Des Moines Partnership worked with regional partners, including the Cultivation Corridor, the Iowa Economic Development Authority, the Ames Chamber of Commerce, and Economic Development Commission and Business Publications Corporation to host the innovationIOWA Magazine Launch Party.
The event, which took place in the Iowa State University Research Park at the office of Workiva in Ames, Iowa, brought together regional leaders and visionaries from Greater Des Moines and Ames in a collaborative spirit.
The innovationIOWA Magazine, distributed by Business Record, highlights companies and their technological accomplishments. The publication will also feature comprehensive reports on recent achievements and what the future holds for:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Bioscience & Agriculture
Jay Byers, CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Des Moines leader for the Heartland Civic Collaborative, attended the launch event. He remarked, “As a global hub for cutting-edge technology, STEM research and agbioscience, Greater Des Moines and the Cultivation Corridor have much innovation to celebrate.”
The Heartland Civic Collaborative, like innovationIOWA Magazine, is dedicated to encouraging innovation and collaboration throughout the Heartland region through its Life Sciences, Entrepreneurship and Human Capital, Transportation and Federal Advocacy initiatives.
