KINETIC Forum Focuses on the Future Changes in Transportation Infrastructure

On April 22, 2016, Kansas City’s leaders in the transportation industry will gather to hear Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Harvard University business professor and author of “MOVE: Putting America’s Infrastructure Back in the Lead,” speak at the KINETIC Forum.

This is the second KINETIC Forum in a dynamic series of community conversations that will occur over the next year on the future of transportation. The series is designed to inform the Kansas City community about innovations in transportation that require the community’s proactive steps. These steps will help the region remain a leader in the transportation industry.

Kanter, the Forum’s keynote speaker, will discuss the future changes expected in transportation infrastructure and how they might be financed. In addition, local civic and business leaders from the Greater Kansas City area will lead a conversation about regional transportation trends and systems.

The Heartland Civic Collaborative recognizes the need to leverage the thriving transportation industry. As a mega-region initiative, we will develop a multi-modal, integrated transportation vision for the region. This transportation vision supports and enhances the Heartland’s promising competitive advantage in the transportation industry.
