Kansas City gets Revved Up at Transportation Summit
It’s a remarkable time for transportation. New technologies continue to change the way we transport goods and people, impacting our cities, infrastructure and economy. The Heartland Civic Collaborative partnered with Kansas City area leaders to host a KINETIC event on the future of transportation. The event, which took place Wednesday, February 17, featured keynote speaker William (Bill) Clay Ford Jr., Executive Chairman, Ford Motor Company and a panel discussion led by technology journalist Kim-Mai Cutler.
The conversation centered on the smart mobility revolution and the road of tomorrow. Technologies, including autonomous vehicles and smart roads, that once felt very far in our future are now around the corner.
